This is the BIG annual book sale for the Shawnee Friends of the Library.  Proceeds are used to benefit the Shawnee Public Library throughout the year.  On Thursday October 5th the sale will open with a Members Only event from 5 pm - 7 pm.  Memberships will be available for purchase at the door.  The Sale opens for general sales to the public at 7 pm Thursday, and continues all day Friday, closing at 5:00 pm.  On Saturday, the general sale will continue 9:00am to 12 noon.  Starting at noon on Saturday, until 1:30 pm Saturday, the Friends invite all area teachers to select books for their classroom use at no cost.  Help is needed with set up, during the sale, and with packing up after the sale.  Call the library at 405-275-6353 and ask for a member of the Friends Sale Team to contact you.  Thank you for supporting the Shawnee Friends of the Library!
