This is the BIG annual book sale for the Shawnee Friends of the Library.  Proceeds are used to benefit the Shawnee Public Library throughout the year. 

2025 -

Wednesday - Oct 1, Shawnee Library Book Preview Sale for members of the Friends organization is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memberships available at the door. Paperbacks for 50 cents; hardbacks for $1. 

Thursday - Oct 2, Shawnee Library Book Sale opens for the general public, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Paperbacks 50 cents, hardbacks $1.

Friday - Oct 3,  Shawnee Library Book Sale, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Buy books by the bag ($5) or box ($10).

Saturday - Oct 4,  Give-away Day at the Libary - Take as many books as you want and make a donation for whatever amount you want. All proceeds go to support our
library’s programs.
