Blacktop Bloodline, is a unique Red Dirt / Country band consisting of a father and son: Dylan Powell lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Doug Powell on lead guitar. Joined by two best friends, Nonie Taliaferro on drums and Nik Tyler on bass guitar, all of whom share a passion for country music storytelling tradition.

The name pays homage to their Oklahoma family heritage, rooted in four generations of truck drivers. Their sound is deeply infused with country harmonies that reflect their family ties, something they take great pride in.

The band has made an impact on the Texas and Oklahoma music scenes. Each performance allowing them to share their stories while creating lasting memories with their listeners.
