We would love to have you or your business participate in Enchanted Woodland, Oct 26th 1-3! See below for additional details. The vendors are information only. You can do a table with or without a canopy or a trunk or treat set up.
1. Is there a fee for vendors to setup in the park. If so how much? Vendors are information only, no sales. Booths are free, but we ask you have something to hand out to kids. Adding something for the kids to do at your booth would be, well, enchanting, but that is up to you and your capacity. This is a low-stress ZONE! Please reply to RSVP to stacy.moore@shawneeok.org or (405) 275-9780 so we can manage the space effectively.
2. Are there any special requirements to pass out candy to people? We are suggesting enough for 500 people. Everyone loves candy, but you might think of Halloween tattoos, rings, promo items, etc. You might add a discount coupon or other call to action to get those "big-people" back to your business.
3. Are there going to be assigned locations, or just setup where you can? Please check in at the Visit Shawnee tent (bright orange at the driveway on the north). Spots are first come, first serve. Please be set up completely by 12:30pm for 1:00 - 3:00 event. Bring your own table, chairs and canopy or there will be a spot for traditional automotive "Truck-or-treats" in the Splash parking lot.
4. What should I do if I am already signed up for a different event? Shawnee is the Halloween and Fall Fest Capitol of Oklahoma with more than 65 events covering the spooky season. Be sure your event is on the Shawnee area calendar at VisitShawnee.com/events. These events are by far our most popular e-newsletters! Be sure to subscribe at VisitShawnee.com/subscribe to always be in the know of upcoming Shawnee area events. Donations of treats can be dropped off at the Welcome Center, 2820 N Kickapoo, and will be shared with our emergency response crews - Fire, Police and EMS!
Visit Shawnee is the Department of Tourism for the City of Shawnee, OK. We are not a part of any other organization. We offer many free and low-cost ways to promote your business to visitors to our community. We support all businesses looking to expand their customers from outside the Shawne area. - Stacy Cramer Moore & Michael Richard Savage (405) 275-9780 stacy.moore@shawneeok.org
